Tony Quinn
Principal

Principal, Tony Quinn is a graduate of Hillsdale College (B.A.), Aquinas College and Grand Valley State (Masters). Before coming to Northview, Quinn taught and coached lacrosse in Forest Hills Public Schools. Early in his career, Quinn became an administrator and relocated to Traverse City. His love for West Michigan brought him back to Northview, where he served as Principal of West Oakview before making the move to Northview Next. Outside of school he enjoys supporting all three of his children’s college athletic and academic careers.
Danielle Hart
Administrative Assistant

Danielle Hart, building administrative assistant, has loved her role at Northview Next. She brings all of the great qualities of a wonderful school administrative assistant: a welcoming smile, a warm environment and a strong sense of organization. When she’s not caring for the staff and students at NNCC, she is busy with three kids of her own!
Betsy Verwys
Teacher

Betsy Verwys has been teaching English at Northview since 2014. She received her B.A.degree from Cornerstone University and Masters from GVSU. Verwys, an avid nature lover, spends most of her free time outside, whether it's on land, or on the water, her favorite place is outdoors.
Brandon Paradis
Teacher

Brandon Paradis, math teacher, started his teaching career in 2014. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Paradis relocated to Michigan and earned his B.A. from GVSU. Outside of teaching, Paradis enjoys the nerdier side of life with hobbies like D&D and gaming.
Brian Hendricks
Teacher

Science and Manufacturing teacher, Brian Hendricks graduated from Grand Valley State University and has always had a passion for teaching. Hendricks is a true outdoorsman who always enjoys becoming closer with nature, whether it's hunting, fishing, or hiking. Surprisingly enough, if Hendricks wasn't teaching, you’ll find him scuba diving - he’s already survived cage diving with great white sharks!
Nick Smith
Teacher

Career Coach, Nick Smith, graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and Central Michigan University. In his role, Smith oversees the partnership with Jobs for Michigan Graduates (JMG) and co-teaches Career Classes. When Smith isn’t at school, he loves spending time with his wife and family, watching sports, or attending Dave Matthews Band concerts.
Stephanie Knaus
Social Worker

Social Worker, Steph Knaus, graduated from Calvin College and then the University of Michigan for her masters. In Knaus’ role, she offers support for students and families of the Northview community. When she isn’t supporting our community, Knaus enjoys traveling,cheering for U of M, and spending time with friends and family.
Raelynn Kuzmicz
Mental Health Liaison

Social Worker, Raelynn Kuzmicz, completed her undergraduate at Central Michigan University and then her Master's at Michigan State University. In Raelynn's role, she offers mental health support and resources to students and their families within the district. When not at school, Raelynn loves to spend time outdoors with her 5-year-old Australian Shepherd, Samson, or curled up on the couch with a good book and her 4 cats!
Trip Gallery
Consultant

Teacher consultant James (Trip) Gallery is a graduate of Rockford HS, Beloit College (B.A.) and Grand Valley State University (Masters). Before retiring from Northview High School, Gallery taught high school social studies for 3 decades. He started his career teaching a multi-age elementary class in Adelaide, South Australia. He continues to have a passion for World cultures and especially cuisine. In his free time, Gallery enjoys coaching football and is a high school wrestling official.
